U.S. Survey of Working Arrangements and Attitudes (SWAA)

Next data release Sunday, 5 May 2024

The Survey of Working Arrangements and Attitudes (SWAA) is a monthly survey of between 2,500 to 10,000 US residents aged between 20 and 64. We currently compile two versions of the data: (1) restricting to persons who earned  $10,000+ in the prior year, going back to May 2020; (2)  with no earnings restriction, going back to early 2022.

In a typical month, we release an updated microdata and code file on the 5th day of the month, which includes data from all waves of the SWAA starting in May 2020 up to the most recent month for dataset (1), and for 2022 onwards for dataset (2).
